It's STEAK & WHISKEY NIGHT at Action Man's!

He's gotta work on my birthday, so he invited me over for fun festivities on his day off.

Not that I have some big party planned for my birthday or anything...

But it's ALWAYS a good time for STEAK & WHISKEY!

I have an identical but green kawasaki one on a jacket. they come up from time to time, but there aren't any on there now. There is a Kawasaki For Women's Lib patch that might be a big hit with the ladies or two different My mama rides a kawasaki ones which are pretty cool.

LOL nice photo, what is that in your eye?

Duuuuuuude. I need that shopvac. I spilled most of an 18lb bag of dog food all over the kitchen. Maddy thought it was christmas. I banished her to the couch. She's PISSED AS HELL! You know that scene in Carrie after the pig's blood mad mad mad ... yeah, that.

Cool! I sold my KZ to someone who lived (lives?) in Norman. :-)
1kiss_of_life:
No need to delete it. I need to admit my OCDs, and learn to live with them. I realize Dr. Phil would disagree with learning to live with them, but I'm old dammit .... AND I REFUSE TO CHANGE! <--- and yes, that's a whole 'nuther problem.

Truth be told, my whining was more like, "My 15 minutes to edit will be over by the time I get back, but I must remember to explain I realized my mistake." ... I know... surreal ...I know.

Oh man, I'm beat to shit. It was a hell drive, but well worth it.

I was expecting a boring drive, but there were no boring parts. At all.

I set out yesterday afternoon in the Nissan Sentra. It's getting a bit long in the tooth, but is a great little car. 1600cc sixteen valve engine with variable valve timing, surprisingly peppy, but the CV...

When speaking of rain, I've been told it's most appropriate to say, "It's raining hammers, it's raining nails." Tom said so. And, he's, like, god. So, he should know. wink

I've been wanting a medium rare steak and a baked potato for weeks.

YOU! ON THE GREEN BIKE! FINGER OFF THE GODDAMN TRIGGER!! Thank you, carry on.

I'm driving to Kansas today to pick up (most of) another engine for my motorcycle. It's just like mine, but only has 16,000 miles on it, whereas I have no idea how many mine has on it, but my transmission is about clapped out. The valves from this other engine went into Action Man's engine a couple years ago.

I'm getting this other engine for...

Damn when you get done the only original part of your bike that will be left is the frame LOL.

Wow I had never heard about Dublin Dr. Pepper, that stuff sounds good.

I'm not sure if I have heard the breeders, the name sounds familiar, I will have to look them up and see, what kind of music are they?
ifixtrains:
I still have that spectre in pieces, and I won't be able to do a damn thing about it till I get my own place, and even then I might go with a different bike. I really like the ducati gt1000 but I'll have to see how the house deal goes down first. If I do go with a different bike is there anything on that spectre that would be usefull to you?

I love that gif thing you made!
hephaestos:
that's the benefit of these old bikes! mine is out of coolant (some nimrod overtorqued the little plastic bolt and sheared it off evidently) because it's been slowly leaking out around what used to be the bolt that held it all in. i just got the part in today so i'll be working on it tomorrow.
i figured i'd let you know i posted a few pictures in a before and after kind of way to show where my bike is now compared with after my first round of changes. i didn't realize how much i've done nor how much i still want to do until just now.
good building!
