More mowing today. It's pretty good therapy just cruising through the woods on a riding mower, dodging trees, breathing tons of dust, ducking under branches, and thinking. Or not thinking. Think of it as noisy meditation.

Fucking great day today! Dad and I mowed. Okay, maybe that doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you're talking about several acres, much of it through the woods... We used the tractor with the mower attachment, the riding mower, a push mower, and a chainsaw.

Goodness sakes, I got drunk last night. Went to my buddy's house in Tecumseh and we drank a lot of tequila and listened to music way too loud, floated in his pool trying to watch the stars through crossed eyes.
Today was really bad. Since lupus normally feels like a hangover, I guess I got the double whammy... I didn't get up until after 4:00.

that's the best news I've heard in quite some time
I'm very tired today, and my neices are coming to spend the night. Dad's really excited to see them, he loves his grandkids. I haven't seen these girls since they were really little, and now they're like 10 and 13. As I recall, they're very sweet children, but if you know me then you know little kids freak me out.
