Time for a new entry... so what's been happening?
New rulebook - that's all the entire departent have been working on in the last 4 weeks. Fortunately, I get to go back to the LotR project tomorrow which has kind of fallen by the wayside - it'll be good to get back to something smaller that I can manage myself again for a while.
For the last fwe weeks, we've had visitors from the US (Baltimore) offices over, so I've been socialising lots and showing them the sights... which of course means that I've done more drinking and partying in the last two weeks than I've done in the previous three months, and to be honest - I've been surprised to find that I can still keep up! Damn! And there was me thinking I was getting old... which bodes well for the other interesting news.
Is 21 too young? I kind of had a lower limit in my head of about 25 for anyone that I would want to get involved with, but I've met someone younger, and I think there might be something there. Other than her age, her older sister is of one of my friends, who is marrying another of my very good friends. They seem really cool about the idea that I like her, but I dunno - I've been in the position of dating a friend's sister before and it didn't go well at all (although in that case, it was an older brother, not sister, which I reckon is a huge difference, plus there was no small amount of animosity between L and C's g/f at the time which really didn't help... ). Do I go for it? I do like Claire, but I'm worried that the age difference might not help. I guess I'll wait and see what happens when I see her at the wedding in about a week's time...
