My stupidity lingers. I feel perfect today but was explaining anti-spam rules to a co-worker and totally brain farted all over my explanation. Turned out I was over complicating a very simple solution.

Women have that convient excuse every month, but guys can suffer from planetary alignment and hormones just the same *ME*.

The bad thing is that I am stupid and in a silly mood. Must.. control.. my.. posting..

Indeed! It did take some effort, and that is what makes it so wonderful of him.

As to expectations, no, I definitely do not have them of him. My ex-husband was kind enough to lure me in and once we were moved in together, nice things stopped. After 9 years of marriage he still never did figure out my favorite flowers. **shrug**

If it seems too good to be true... wink

Complained about the smell of Lillies? Indeed. Shame on her for that one on all counts. Though I have a theory that appreciation is a skill that not every one has.

It is the little things. I also have to learn to allow people to do things as well. I love to surprise people, and to do things for them. It makes me incredibly happy, but I never want people to ever feel like they have to do anything that I can and normally would do myself. I suspect that N will teach me a bit more about that. smile

The worst gift I ever received was from a boyfriend who gave me a plastic cockroach for my birthday, and a coffee mug for valentines day. Okay, not the kind of stuff a normal girl would want, and my friends were not amused, but at least he tried. That is what counts.

How about you? Any nightmare gifts that you have given or received? What is the nicest surprise you have ever gotten?

~cheers
