I'm Just Trying To Leave Something Behind

I've been sitting here going over my profile and clicking around- thinking I need to post something here. I don't know what to post most days; I try to be witty and carefree, or deep and meaningful, most times I make a public comment. My "in-the-flesh" friends know this already beacause it's all I talk about lately but I guess I'll talk about it here, as well. I'm attempting to turn my life around one day at a time. About a year ago I decided I wasn't happy with my place in the world. I realized I needed better credit to get the things I want to improve upon- a place to live all my own and a better vehicle. I set to that. I determined myself to get a promotion. I got it. Now I'm realizing every step that I take opens up more doors, too. The more that I do- the more I focus on the objective and set out to do, the happier I seem to be. It's been a huge game changer for me- and, now it has me wondering why no one else has ever tried to tell me I was doing minor things wrong and it hit me- they didn't know. The thing these super successful people tell us to do, that everyone I know has always mocked or ignored- wake up early and meditate, visualize what you want, focus your desires, and many other cliched advice- it's all true! The key though, is to have an objective in mine throughout it all. Know your purpose and you'll have less distractions along the journey. I am no expert so don't quote me, though, try it for yourself. Every thing that you do should be driving your towards a specific goal- whatever it may be. I am now working from home because I love bettering myself and advancing my agendas. I am constantly thinking about next steps and planning for the next day. I wish I had this drive 15 years ago. But, I came to it now, and i have lost time to make up for. I have a life to build. I have to turn a life of no particular significance into something worthy of the opprotunity of life itself. I have to leave something behind.
