I've spoken to a few members here and read a few things about the economy and how it's affected people. It sure has effected me! I blogged about it the other day...I've been out for nearly 11 months. I went from coat and tie, commuting to work 1200 miles away every week to sitting here in front of this keyboard firing off resumes and calling people for jobs all day.
But really, there have been some positives to come from this. My relationships with friends, my appreciation for simple things and my focus on what is important. I don't have the feeling of doom and gloom I had in the months just after being let go. I'm going to be ok, and I'm ok with things. It will all be fine!
So, how has this economy affected you? What have you learned from it? What are you going to do next? I'd love to hear your comments.
