Lots of amazing things finally happening! Our new Head of Picture has arrived from New Zealand, but I can't say who he is yet because of my NDA. I'll reveal his name soon enough, and all I can say is the dude is awesome! It will be a great year for the company.
The Quiet Ones was finally released in theaters and we are very happy about how it looks; we spent a lot of hours deciding on how scenes should look and the film emulation looks amazing. A lot of scenes were supposed to be shot in 16mm film, but we created a very grainy, scratchy look that will make a lot people think it's not digital.
Another movie that's out is The Sacrament from Ti West ( House of the Devil, The Innkeepers). Ti wanted a very specific, guerilla doc look and the final piece is definitely worth watching.
January through March was basically a blur... I spent a lot of time onset for the production of the a new Stephen King movie called Cell working as a DIT. Got stuck onset during the Atlanta snowstorm, had to sleep in a bar because no one could drive home, that kinda of fun. Met some amazing people down in Georgia and hopefully will be doing more work there...
