All is well! Didn't buy the Fury (I think it sold today), but will still go look at the old New Yorker. Went spelunking in the '67 dashboard to see if I could find a wiring prob, no joy, but she bit me for my trouble, pretty good cut from the clamp holding the tach.

So the Fury is mostly there, brakes are done, trans is done. I need to track down a mystery electrical problem, probably the ammeter (voltmeter). And, figure out why this 383 is so sluggish. But otherwise, the sky's the limit on Francine.

Ah I couldn't stand living in the Sunset. I moved to Hayes Valley afterwards, then even more inland now. I swear I'm gonna be in South Beach soon, on the most eastern part of San Francisco I can find.

When we were building my 440 we were toying with the idea of a blower, but decided against it. I don't remember why exactly.
Do you have an iPod? I would like to get one, but I seem to spend my money before I can save up to get one.
