Miles' 'Kind of Blue' makes everything better.
With scotch. Late at night.

I am NOT a creepy lurker!
Really I'm not!

Nice Mopar, I had a 69 Camaro when I was in High School. I still want to restore an old van, say 62-64 ford or chev.

Working late and drinking late again.
The joy of having your own studio space is cranking the music and smoking in your workplace. Screw everybody else. Do try it. Do.
lil_tuffy:
Wait. Is that your GTX?

Do you have it here in the city.

Is that a 68 or 69?

I used to have a 70 roadrunner.

It's a '69 Coronet 440. Small block, but not for long.
That is, it'll be 440/440 by spring. And yes indeedy, it's in the city.

Got my G5 this week. Dual 2ghz, 2.5G RAM, all the the sprinkles on this donut.
Went through RAM-install weirdness, but now all is fine. This beast SMOKES! Tiff-extraction time is about 60% faster.
It's like I put a 440 in my Coronet.
Yay! Less time staring at a llittle progress wheel at 4AM.
This may sound dull, but is actually thrilling news.
Go get...

Just got back from Germany, found the wonderful World Of Music store in Nurnberg. Picked up the LSaTSM soundtrack and some Eno I didn't have: Before and After Science, and Music for Films (not Apollo, this is a bunch of short tracks for short films).
Awesome stuff.

How many real loves do you get? Did I use all mine up? I finally let go of the last one, and I haven't felt the same way about anybody since. Maybe I'm broken. Maybe you have a finite number and when they're all gone you go into limbo. Well, I have my Jazz to keep me warm.
ozymandias:
Is that a Super Bee ?
evil:
Well, you ARE a Scorpio! Your fellings run hot, but the emotion you show is ice cold. If you can come to terms with your feelings, then maybe love will stay a little longer!

I was enjoying Al's Zombie Candids (which are wonderful, BTW, more please!) ((with guns!)). But as I was looking at the congealed blood on her chest and thought of the corpse-pictures of Uday and Qusay. Gross. Really weirded me out. I'm gonna go stare at boobs until I forget about it...

iTunes devotees take note: '30 Days In The Hole' by Humble Pie is the most sublime, Delta-est track of any 70's rock band, except for about two Stones tracks. Listen and tell me I'm wrong!

I really love that Fractal desktop you posted on the boards!

Is it me, or does Mary have the most well-tweezed eyebrows on this site? Not too much, and not too little which seems to be a 'look' for some...
Perfect balance, she has.

You know, Blade Runner just never gets old. It's aged like a really good scotch, and it holds up well. I'd put it up against any SF film of the last 20 years. Brilliant. I love watching the little stuff, the deep background, and the lingering shots of people doing nothing. An ambient stringing of images, sound, violence and terrible beauty.
The sound design is...
