Today is my fathers birthday so I called him up. I talked to him for about 3 1/2 minutes and didn't have much to say to him. It's a trip I guess we get along but I can't seem to really care about him one way or another. It's kinda fucked up. I just feel apathy towards him, I don't think we will ever have a bond. When I have my kids it's not going to be like this. I don't know, that part of me is dead I don't wish it apon anybody. skull

me and my pops didn't get close til my mid twenties...and I can honestly say that he was the one that changed the most, so hang in there...the more life experiences you have the closer you'll get.
