hee hee...hmm...Heather was all weird today...i think i may give up pre-maturely, but i'll hold out through the week. Did a nice 5 page paper on Charlemagne last night, was loads of fun...that was for English...now i get to write 3 more pages to tack onto it so i can turn it in for History 
*sigh* as much as i love history, that paper is too fuggin long... so yeah, i'm doing better with my little dad issue...thanks for all the support everyone, i really appreciate it! I wish i knew some of you IRL, i'm sure we'd all have a blast together

So, now its time for GStrife's other fun history fact of the day! President Jackson didn't take shit from anyone...ever...he was once in a duel over a woman in Kentucky. They took their 10 paces, turned, and fired. Jackson's opponent MISSED Jackson on his shot! So, by the rules of dueling, Jackson had "achieved his satisfaction" and the duel would have gone in his favor. However, instead of walking away the winner, he raised his gun, took his time carefully aiming, and shot his opponent right through the heart. What a guy... And guess what?! I have ANOTHER Jackson fact for you later this week! Please, try to contain your excitement
