It is 3:45 am I have just come alive from a nice long sleep. Started sleeping at approximately 5:30 pm yesterday afternoon after a long 16 hr day of the night/day shift, 11 pm to 3 pm. Had a nice long week of regular and overtime. I just turned on the TV (yes the box of all evil in the world) and I was going up and down through the channels without success. All 120 of them, basic cable only. Informational commercials all 30 min. of them are the only thing on 75% of them. I could settle on A&E and watch Captain Kirk as a police officer, wild party girls that only tease you with the bars across the interesting areas, Mr. Miagi time traveling, Happy Days, Adult Swim, or the continuing news about New Orleans and the gulf coast. I have settled on nothing and am doing the typical male thing, flicking through the channels. Well it will be an interesting day of laundry, cleaning the house, dishes. Are not days off supposed to be about doing nothing as I am doing now.
