It's been a while since I updated this thing so I'm updating this...thing.

Yeah

Anyway; last weekend was spent in the company of the beautiful sillyokio. We mostly hung out on my couch watching Venture Brothers and Harvey Birdman. That alone makes for a fantastic weekend.

We did get out and about on Saturday to go the Oklahoma City Tattoo convention (three guesses as to where it was held) where we saw some really fantastic artists displaying their portfolios and giving people some really great tattoos. I also noticed that a lot of artists wind up doing Hellraiser based artwork sooner or later. There were two being done in booths right across the aisle from each other at the same time. Both were fantastic work.

Anyway, back to the convention: Okio entered a few of her tattoos in the tattoo contest. She didn't win, but not because her work isn't good (it's beautiful, actually). She was beaten by a guy with a huge and extraordinarily realistic tattoo of a lion's head on his thigh. I think he won three different categories for that and another tattoo (I think he took first and second in at least one category).

We also got to see the Lizard Man do his thing. He was pretty awesome but before he went on stage an associate of his (who's name escapes me) went on to display his air guitar prowess.

He was hilarious. I was seriously in tears.

Then the Lizard Man went on. Why's he called the Lizard Man?

He performed several feats of, umm...

He did cool stuff.

He did stuff with a keg:

He did stuff with scissors:

He did stuff with a corkscrew:

He did stuff with a sword:

He even did stuff with a condom:

He was also drinking beer throughout his act.

All in all, it was a pretty damn good weekend.

In other news: I finally got around to getting a new cell phone this weekend. It's an LG Shine and it's pretty awesome.

The first thing I did with it was set my ringtone to play "Eye of the Tiger".
