In the interests of science and because I love all of you, I've decided to try Chelada.
It's a mixture of Budweiser and Clamato with salt and lime.
(For those of you who don't know, Clamato is a mixture of tomato juice and clam broth.)
My first thought was "Clam juice? In MY beer?". But as I do like beer mixed with tomato juice or V8, I thought I'd give it a whirl.
And you know what? It's not bad. It's not great, but I've had worse booze. It tastes quite a bit like beer with V8 with a slightly spicy kick and a lot of salt.
And clam juice.
While Chelada probably won't be something I'll drink often, I think I'll probably find myself drinking it again in the future.
