I managed to get out and shoot my bow today.

I'm so out of practice. I haven't shot in several months. I really haven't shot regularly in a few years.

It feels good to get out and do something that I love.

Also, I've decided to actually hunt with my bow.

I'm going to try to hunt dove with a bow.

The first time I try to actually hunt something with a bow and arrow, and I decide to hunt wee birds.

I can't hardly hit the bastards with a shotgun, there's no way I'm gonna be able to bring any down with a bow.

Oh well...If nothing else, I can say I tried.
