Another quiet Sunday at home. I just got home from another busy shift at the ambulance. I wish the guy who is my shift leader would grow the fuck up. He brings his drama from his home life to work each shift. Working a 48 hour shift at the ambulance is different from every 9-5. You live for 48 hours at a time with your co-workers. You need to have your life organized and learn to keep your shit dialed in. The co-worker bringing drama to work makes things worse for everyone. Being short tempered and pissy brings everyone down. I am older than him but my opinion in valueless since I have no children. Fuck me I was responsible and listened during sex education class. I am a firm believer in 'If you can feed them don't breed them.' I don't make huge money as an EMT, 40k a year but in this economy its decent with good insurance. Just wish I had better co workers.
