The Daily Siege called Barbara Broadcast one of the best pornos of all time, and since it was directed by the guy who did The Opening of Misty Beethoven (which is pretty fucking great), I thought I'd check it out. Then I find out that you're NOT ALLOWED TO SEND ADULT MATERIALS TO AUSTIN. It's the law. What kind of crazy shit is that? I mean, I know I've moved to Texas and all, but I moved to Austin -- and the saying is, the only bad thing about living in Austin is that when you leave, you're in Texas. Well, this is the first bad thing I've run into directly, and I guess it's not such a big deal (I'm not such a big porn-purchaser), but it's just so outrageous. It makes me want to get involved in politics, shake things up (or, more realistically, just not get voted for).
