Well I've never known anyone--myself included--to resort to phone sex except as a substitute for one-on-one body-slappin' togetherness.

That said, it's "real" sex nonetheless. And it "works" in the utilitarian sense. And certainly has its place. Like masturbation is sexual, but not neccessarily the ideal sexual act.

And in a long-distance relationship, for example, it's a great source of relief and a great foreplay ritual. I mean, if you can't hook up with someone you know you want to be with and you know wants to be with you, when you DO get together...well...it's even better in person.

and whaddya know!? it just happened.
it was sweet, but i don't think i could have done it with just anyone.

it takes a pretty good cummunicator (ha!) to keep the actual CONVERSATION going, you know? moaning and groaning can get old quick.
