So we got a free 8 foot Christmas tree. It is a beautiful Douglas Fir and touches our ceiling. IKEA here in Houston has been doing a lot of construction so they were offering free Christmas trees to all customers with any purchase...no matter how small...except food items.
Our friend went a bought a bunch of furniture on Saturday and didnt want a tree so she gave us the recepit and we went. The people helping with the trees were young children whose parents were incarcerated. They were doing a fundraiser. The cutest little boy came up and helped us and got us the biggest tree they had left. We tipped him 2 bucks and he was soooo excited becasue noone had tipped him all day. Then we donated 5 bucks to the X-Mas gift fund for the children.
All in all...we have the prettiest tree around.

you should look at ladykier's cat, it's a himalayan. what a crazy looking fucker. i think she's got at least one pic up. (she lives up the street from me, and i've even met the little monster)
