I think I've found my dream job. (well, apart from Keira Knightley's personal masseur, muahahaaaa).
Did my third shift at Indo last night - amazingly funky little pub/cafe thing in Whitechapel - and I'm still amazed that I enjoy it so much. It really doesn't feel like working, I mean, the people are almost without exception fantastic, and even when it's frantic.. well, I love it when I have to work hard, focus on what I'm doing, heh. And when it's not frantic, I get to drink and chat with some really intelligent, good folk. And listen to good music. I mean, I can't find *anything* wrong with the job. I even get compliments - though not as yet any drinks, hehe - from the pretty lasses I serve. It's just... *ace*.
In other news - less than 2 weeks until The Hungary Extravanganza! 4 mates and I are renting an apartment in downtown Budapest for 8 days, nicely coinciding with the Sziget Festival, which is pretty much Eastern Europe's version of Glastonbury. I mean, Cannibal Corpse, Sugababes, and the Bloodhound Gang on the same bill? Yes please.
Not to mention that Budapest is one of my favourite cities in the world, and I get to practice my ever-so-rusty Hungarian again, yay. I've been gently trying to persuade Khuong to come, but as we've only been together a very few weeks it's perhaps a *bit* soon, hehe...
Still no news on the busking license, though. Have to hassle them about that, the slackers.
Right, time to go buy some food. Laters, beautiful.
