so- last night i was showing this site to my friend weedo. he saw my comment and went ahead to tell me about how the strokes actually went intro the take away place he worked in, and were really cool and down to earth.
i went ahead to wrestle him to the floor and hold him in a triple arm lock until he changed his mind.

my other friend- let's call him 'Mike', broke up with his awesome girlfriend recently- let's call har 'Sarah'.
i loved Sarah- she was funny as fuck, smart, pretty and an all around strong and independent woman.
together they were a rare kinda couple- the kind that doesn't make me sick to my stomach with being all over each other in a disgusting way. "you're schmoopie! NO- YOU ARE!"
and then they broke up and she moved away.
when he told me, i was all like- 'Oh no!'
when inside i was actually- 'Awright!'
(i'm a truly disgusting person, but i left that thought after 5 seconds when i realized how idle that fantasy was, and went back to feeling sorry for my friend.)
anywho- the guy started playing in a band, with a female lead singer who's also an accomplished classical player and has perfect pitch. let's give her a random name, just for referance- mmmm....i dunno.... howsabout- 'Evil Laurie'
he's a composer, so naturally- perfect pitch does it for him. she's nice to look at but i miss Sarah
i really enjoyed being a third wheel with those guys...
plus- i think Evil Laurie hates me because i didn't really wanna date her best friend who was very nice and cute but whatever- it didn't happen, and you know how women are- now it's personal.
i may make Evil Laurie into my nemesis instead of the strokes.

i'm all over their compilation right now.
and another one of weird al yankovic's songs.

so- i started sleeping in my practice space occasionally. i got me a sleeping bag and an air mattress so i can crash on the floor in case i stay there too late.
after 3 nights i realized why i like it there so much- I HAVE A DRUM KIT IN MY BEDROOM AGAIN! same as in my old room at my parents!
so my question for you today is less violent then yesterday's-
where is the place you feel the safest at?

today is my day off, but it's therapy day too.
i'm kind of stressing a little bit, trying to print out some samples of my design stuff to apply for a design job. ugh. it's driving me crazy! i'll get it though, dammit!

edit: ah! your pic just changed to les nessman! too funny! i remember one episode where les was at a party, and a handsome man named "Steel" was talking to him, and said, "i believe a man's name tells you a lot about him. what is YOUR name?" and les said, "Les". haha
