I'm contemplating going back to school soon... not enough education, ya know. smile

Today I went to an open house at a school near me. It was so weird. I've been out of college for 10 years (yeah, I'm a geezer) and it was strange to be back in a lecture hall!

*sigh*

My car started overheating yesterday... it's not super old, in very good shape (I baby my baby) but something was definitely wrong.

Took it in today, and the thermostat is gorked. $450 to fix it.

Remember the days when people could work on their own cars? Sometimes I miss those days...

So i had to replace my termostat this weekend too...but on an '88 Camry it wasn't too bad...$14.99 for the part...you're right mostly labor in the costs. Sorry to hear your engine is so complicated.

haha--i just fell right in--no money down-

you'll still have to pay for your escrow (costs based on your purchase price)...you can split the full sales price into 80% and 20% (yes-two stinking mortgages) but that way, you avoid throwing away your money on PMI (Private mortage insurace) and you can always refi. If you have Military history and are active or honorably discharges-- you can get a VA (up to 105% price). There are loans available with "no verification of income"--i did it that way. E-mail me if you have more questions...it's not as scary as you think to buy a house. Don't be intimidated!

Good luck-=-I'm not a mortgage broker, but I've been an RE appraiser for 10 years...I know stuff. heh.

Ah... well, being back to work after being off for the wedding kind of sucks. I wish someone would pay me to hang out and make love to my wife all day... that would be the life! smile
