Black Friday. The name sounds much cooler than it actually is.
Yes, I am up at 6:30AM on a day off. Actually, I've been up since 5:00AM because Mrs. Groove and my other wife (her best friend) are going shopping. I have no idea what the appeal is.... fighting throngs of pushy people to get great deals on things you don't want or need. Go figure. But the collective Mrs. Groove's do this every year (and strangely, they never seem to buy all that much!) so I just get up, see them off, and then go back to bed.
Of course, this year, I couldn't sleep... so out comes the laptop and some SG time wasting.
Okay, since we're having *another* Thanksgiving meal today (two days, to accommodate divorced parents who can't act like grown-ups) I'm going to try to get some more sleep before I have to start cooking again.

It's all mob mentality brought on by advertising. I don't think I have ever heard anyone say that they want to go but they do and that's silly. However I hope you got to at least take a nap at some point!
