Ah... finally, a long weekend! This whole work and school thing has been wearing me out. I still have a ton of work to do over the weekend, but I'm taking at least *one* day for my damn self!!

It's been rainy and overcast all day... god I love this weather!!!

It was the perfect day to stay in, get some reading done, and nap. Nothing like an afternoon nap on a rainy day.

The air and water show this weekend totally kicked ass. Well, at least the "air" part of it did. We had several really close (like you could almost reach out and touch them!) fly-bys by the Blue Angels. And let me say, those planes are damn impressive and can do some really cool shit. Watching them from the comfort of your own balcony rules too!...

It's the air and water show in Chicago this weekend, and I've got one helluva view from my place... I've been reading all evening to get caught up on class work, so tomorrow we can grill, get drunk, and watch fighter planes fly around the skyline.

Wow... I had my first class today, and although it was a slow one, I'm going to have a *shitload* of work to do this semester. I already have to read a ton for Wednesday, and do a short paper. It's gonna be a lot of work... at least (so far) the work is interesting.

In less than eight hours I have my first orientation session at school. Orientation lasts a full week (a mix of technical, procedural and social sessions). Then, it's straight into classes. Yipes!

I can't beleive how many incredibly beautiful new SGs and PSW members there are!

You go away for a week, and all the hotties come out!!

I'm back!!! Ah... I survived being without a machine for over a whole week! Yikes!!

I have to go away... it's a good thing. I sold my old laptop, and they are coming to pick it up tomorrow... but the new one won't be here until next week.

Yikes! Will I survive?!?!

Well, the Dems are doing a pretty good job so far.... Ted Kennedy was a dud, but what do you expect. Howard Dean was too toned down to be very effective, but eh...

It was nice to see Regan at the Democratic National Convention... and his speech was decent.

I was also impressed with Terrsa Heinz Kerry... I love that woman. She's intelligent, outspoken. Opinionated?...

It's Democratic Convention time... so far, nothing special... Al Gore was just dull, as usual.

Jimmy Cater was pretty cool... he got in some great digs at Bush.

Right now Hillary is introducing Bill... wow... they are going nuts for him! No wonder he's appearing on Monday, not Thursday... man, would he overshadow Kerry.... Sad.

I really wish they had a candidate I could vote...
