Classes are done!!! No more classes until next year!!!

But.... it's not all good news. That means it's now reading period, and I have to get ready for my final exams in mid-May... frown

I really liked the movie, but i haven't bothered to read the books. I tried once, while standing in the Costco store, but i couldn't get into it. From what i understand from watching all the bonus stuff, they did take some liberty by skipping thru book 1, into books 2 & 3, then finishing with the ending of book 1 again.

I watched it again today with the commentary by the director and the author...which was a cause for much concern wink hehehe biggrin

Okay. Early last week it was hitting 70/75 degrees with clear blue skies. This weekend it has been in the 30s with snow flurries. The weather in Chicago is seriously fucked up.

My wife and I wanted to go see a movie tonight... so I looked to see what was playing, and I'm so out of touch I didn't recognize *anything* other than Sin City!

How f'd up is that...

My Netflix queue is *huge* since I haven't had time to watch anything this semester.

Ah... it was a good birthday. I skipped class and had dinner with my wife, which was very nice. She gave me some, um, special presents. It was nice to get to spend some time with her instead of a school book!

Oooh... oral arguments are coming up soon for moot court. (Part of our legal writing class.) This ought to be fun! But it's so much work, I'm stressing out...

Wow... Spring break is drawing to a close... where the hell did the time go??! I'm still catching up on reading. biggrin

Oh well. I have some friends and relatives visiting from out of town today and tomorrow, so we'll get to do some of the touristy stuff in the city that you never do when you actually live here. That should be fun! smile
