want to hear a weird story? too bad, i'm telling you anyways...
remember when you had that information on "what tree did you fall from?" two weeks before i was in duluth and i wandered into a craft shop looking for a silver ring... instead there was a section for an artist who carves bracelets out of driftwood... super beautiful. there were like... thirty of them... all pretty similar... but i grabbed one right away and bought it without even trying it on. no hesitation. it was walnut; that's my tree.
