1) There's this one that pops up now and then, and it's in my profile under my 'most humbling moment', but I think that I would have to go with my Father's rose garden in our first home. He made a maze-like pattern in the back yard, and the smell was overwhelmingly fragrant. There was a bird bath right in the middle, and I remember watching the birds drink out of it in the hot summer days. There are pictures of me standing in the middle of the garden, wearing a little pink dress. I remember it being SO large - the garden - but looking back at the photos, it wasn't that big at all. It just goes to show how big the world seems when you're small. wink

2) My Cabbage Patch doll. I loved to smell her hair. She had blonde pigtails made of yarn. I miss her. frown

3) Oh, yeah. I went to lots of summer camps, but I loved every one of 'em. (It'll be our little secret, but I even went to Band Camp...hehe). My favorite would have to have been H.O.P.E. It was an environmental awareness camp that was on Whidbey Island. I can't remember what it stood for, but it was an amazing camp! I did some serious soul searching at that camp, and I broke through some difficulties that I had to face growing up, such as dealing with an alcoholic father and a bipolar brother. We were there for a week at a time, and I met some really awesome people. I was really into the G.R.E.A.N. club, and stuff like that growing up.

4) My family lives in South Carolina, so growing up I always flew from Seattle to visit them every summer. I remember the summer that Hurricane Hugo hit, and I was there!! eeek I was only 9 or 10, and I was sitting in a wading pool, you know the blow up kind...I know, those are for little kids. How stupid do you think I felt?!? Anyway, it was like 110 degrees outside, and the sky was blue, and all of a sudden, everything turned black, and the wind started to blow. I looked off in the distance, and there was this funnel-looking thing forming in the sky, and it was touching the ground. I'd heard of Hurricanes before, but I'd never been in one. I think I wet myself in that wading pool, and I went running and screaming back into the house. I never sat in a wading pool again after that...I was afraid of getting struck by lightning. biggrin

5) I would have to go with my Father because he was my inspiration. He helped mold me into the woman I am today. It was difficult growing up with him, and it wasn't until a year before he died that I was able to really get to know him, but he has had the most profound impact on my life to date, and I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for him. wink Luv ya, dad. kiss
