The other day, I got home to my stoop to see my neighbor puzzling over his kid's bicycle. He didn't have the tools to put training wheels on it. He'd lost his job and pawned his tools to feed his family. (He'd just sold my landlord his car jack.) It broke my heart, so I decided to put the wheels on for him today.
