if there is a better thing than spending an afternoon baking cupcakes, i challenge you all to find one.

in other news, new albums have been purchased. i've decided to supplement my music collection with a little bit of U2 and R.E.M. I've been teetering on the edge of buying them for months, so i figured i might as well dig in. i'm probably the only person on the planet who hasn't listened to the joshua tree in its entirety.

the fact that i have these records is further proof that the black market vintage store is the only place i will shop for anything in this city, outside of honest ed's.

i'm supposed to be going to a party tonight for a friend. it's the first surprise party i've been a part of, so i decided to bring my a-game and make vanilla cupcakes with mango cinnamon buttercream icing. nom.

and that's life as i know it. oh wait! i'm going to center island tomorrow with the mom, the dad, and the little bro. i'm gonna take the ferry. it's going to be legendary.
