grit

well, here we are. and it's a beautiful day.

saw inception last night. it wasn't half bad, either. the idea of conscious mind invasion is not necessarily a new one, but the idea turning dreams into commodities-something worth buying, or stealing- is certainly one i'd never fathomed. i don't know, i'd always thought that dreams were a difficult playground to navigate. whatever christopher nolan did, he left me with something to think about on the way home.

the apartment's pretty quiet right now. i've got 'wedding crashers' on in the background for a bit of dead noise, and i'm trying to catch a bit of sleep before work. i'm so glad that overnights are officially done for me in two weeks. thank you god. i was really starting to miss having a social life to work with.

all i know is, i'm happy i'm going to be sleeping at night again, which thrills me more than you can imagine.

i'm going to need a new computer. i can't stand it. somehow the comp was attacked by a major virus. it's like a totalled car. i love this computer, but it's been running on empty for a month now, and i've been doing blog posts on my lunch at work.

shhh.

now that it isn't acting up, i can at least get something done. like typing.
