We buried my grandmother yesterday afternoon, after several different funeral services. We took her back to the Parrish and church that she had lived and worked in for close to 50 years.

It's still hard for me to deal with it all. The viewing was tough, as was the funeral mass. Even harder was the burial service. It was a 45 minute drive to the cemetary from the church, which was just enough time to forget about the pain for another moment and then let it start right up again. I was the last to leave her casket, and I stayed as long as I could until I broke down completely, sobbing uncontrollably. So, now it over and my grandmother is gone forever. At least she's not in pain anymore.

I'd just like to say 'Thank You' to everyone that posted comments on my last entry. I really do appreciate your kind thoughts, and Im sorry if I couldnt get back to each and every one of you. All of your kind words were very much needed and appreciated. Thanks again...
