Happy Fucking New Year! Or something of that nature...

The planned trip to the shore went south. The Brian Setzer Orchestra's peformance at Cesar's was sold out. Probably not a bad thing, since tix were something on the line of 100 bucks a pop. Still, seeing the main Stray Cat play a gig would have been sweet. Instead, me and the roomie threw an impromptu 'gathering' at Chez Grimjack. I basically invited all of the folx that I knew who had no plans over to my house. Sort of a BYOB thing.

Around 15 folx showed up, included two old, old friends I hadnt seen in 4 years. That itself was a weird story...my bud Chris Volk gives a ring to the home phone. He's like, "Im on South Street in Philly. Where are you?". He lives in Atlanta, so that was a serious surprise. We caught up a bit and had a fucking serious good time. Everyone got drunker than the proverbial skunks on Homebrew, Yards, Coffee Flavored Stoli Vodka, Jager, and Mead (yup, I cracked open my very last bottle). Special appearences by

Aponia, Sandra the sickly gal, and TQBcom. Again, a really good time was had by all....especially since 2/3 of the party were too drunk to drive and had to crash on my hardwood floors. Must have been comfortable, cuz no one complained.
