Things have been craptacular since the last update. I busted my ass in the torrential rains we had here in Philly. I was soaked to the bone for my 9 hour shit. The craziness was just incredible to witness...highways becoming flood zones, people being swept away under car, drainage sewers blowing their man-holes...all of it was nuts. On West River Drive by Falls bridge, the run-off from I-76 into the Schykyll River went beyond flooding. It turned into a Niagra Falls type phenomena. That flowed into the streets, turning West River Drive into rushing rapids. A middle aged man and his mentally challenged nephew were trapped in their Mercedes...they got out into another car, and that one was trapped off of the side. I tried to help push them out, but no dice. After the water rose up to the side of the car, I convinced them to get the hell out. No police or rescue would make it in time. Got them back to my truck safely and took em home. No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.
Ugh...Im also having problems with my 'puter. My CPU is on its last legs. I'd like to buy a top end system, but Imr eally trying to put away money to buy a house, get out of debt, etc. Ugh...double UGH.
