One of my favs from BR...brings back memories, both good and bad.
I'm trying to dig myself out of this hole of mediocrity that I've sunk into. Lately I havent been doing much of anything, besides drinking, watching TV, and playing video games. OK...I HAVE been reading a bit, but that doesnt count, since its trash sci-fi.
I dont know...I get caught up in these patterns of ineffectiveness, and it really gets to me. Yet, Im the one that lets myself fall into this same cycle of lethargy every goddamn time. You'd think by the ripe old age of 32 I'd of figured this one out by now. Nope...not even close.
Plans for this weekend include the Bastille Day Celebration in front of Eastern State Penitentary on Fairmount. Its a block party with drunken French fops and dandys dressed up like the aristocrats that were beheaded after the French Revolution. Marie Antoinette, etc. etc. Its always a gas, even in its ghoulish way. If any of the SGPhilly people want to head over, drop a line.
