Yippee-ki-eh, motherfuckers....some Hot Snakes for you to mull over:
I Hate The Kids
Nobody does anything
wrong
Nobody is a dilettante
Everybody gets everything
Everything they want
Time to change up sheets
Lock change
Down
Down in the street
I wanna see you all crossed up
and hung
Fine clothes
Find work
Grabe a spade
Get in the dirt
The older you get
The less you're worth
Yo're gonna hit the market full
force
Hating the kids...a good thing. But I digress. A week of so-so, ca va, comme ci comme ca stuff. Of a good note, my mom offered to pay my way to Vegas for some sort of family function out there. If I end up going, my friends from Dallas are planning on coming out. Hrmmmm...tempting.
Decided to splurge a bit and pick up some music online. I can't get over my indy roots however.
Subpop Records was the receiver of my cash this time around. I still have an on-again/off-again love affair with that record label. It's been that way since 1989 (yup, Im a grunge pervayer). Picked up some Supersuckers, The Yo-Yo's, and the new Catheters album. I'll be rocking out again in a few days.
This weekend, its bingo at a friends house. Dont ask.... I am thinking about taking the New Jersery River Line for a ride in the morning/afternoon for the hell of it. Its a nice light rail that trails some of the river towns north of Philly/Camden. Should be fun...
In the CD Players these past couple of days:
1. Naked Raygun - All Rise
2. Pizzacatto 5
3. Royal Crown Review - The Contender
4. HOt Snakes - Suicide Invoice
6. Millencolin
7. Rev. Horton Heat -It's Martini Time
*burp*
