Im an asshole. With all of the shit going down at work this past month, I completely forgot to put in my request for a day off in order to see The Reverend Horton Heat last night. Yup....Super Fan #1 missed the gig. Hence the ASSHOLE moniker. Fucking brilliant of me. I missed his two shows back to back last year for the same fucking reason. If I could only pull my head out of my ass.
Beyond that, nothing new. Still trying to get the shit together for this weekend. Who knew that planning FUN could be a goddamn ordeal? Methinks it's a BBQ on the rooftop deck, or at my buds tiki room up in Levittown. Sunday, it's another one of my favorite bands, The Catheters at the First Unitarian Church. Early gig, no booze though. Still debating going to Dallas/Austin for the end of next week. If I can only scrounge up the cash...

Today Ive been listening to the band Refused (from Swveden).
I like them a lot. Particularly the song: Summerholidays vs. Punkroutine
Id ask if I can get a hell yea, but I dont know too many people who are into Refused. Then again I dont know too many people.
