Update time!
Lyrical Goodness this time comes from one of my fav bands of all time, Social Distortion.
Dear Lover
loving, over and over again it ain't nothing girl,
till you've felt the pain up against the wall,
why does love always have to hurt your scratches run across my back and then a tear
dear lover, i can't take the pain no more dear lover, i pick my heart up from the floor
dear lover, i can't believe its come to this
dear lover, give me one last painful kiss
there ain't nothin', in this world for free now
so how high of a price will you pay hear the screams so loud,
wake up to the broken glass it's a scene from bad to worse, and many more tears

Ahhh...nice. Anyway, its been an interesting week. Fun, too. After returning from SXSW I've been trying to get my new house in order. Unpacking, moving crap around, etc. I've also been trying to detox myself. It seems a month of drinking has done wonders for my health....I've had the shakes, headaches, and all other sorts of fun crap going on. SO, I've tried to chill out for most of the week. Didnt even have a drink at the Friday gig at the Khyber, where The Dragons were playing. All that changed on Saturday.
On that fateful day, several things a happened: started out record shopping with my friends rob and reg. Picked up the new Southern Culture, Von Bodies, and Eagles of Death Metal albums. Great stuff. Headed over to Sugarmoms and tried not to drink....the free booze was too tempting, though. Drank a few, then ended up at The Standard Tap, another of my favorite bars. Synflower, Troubley, and her friend Matt met up with us for lunch and booze. Always fun to hang out at the Tap with good people, and it was cool to actually meet some SG people in person. After the Tap, we took off with Syn to a party in Fishtown at this great house. Unfortunately, I had tix for Preston School of Industry at the Khyber again, so we had to split early. It would have been cool to hang out with Syn more...next time!
Anyway, I've still figthing off this bloody hangover. Im goddamn stupid, I realize. Need to lay OFF of the booze for abit...well, I'll work on it.
