Howabout some Twilight Singers - The Killer:
I think we're lost, don't worry
I've been here before
I'm sure I thought I knew the way
Out of here yesterday
Dove cuesto, mi dolce?
Your driver called, it's time to go-
Your driver's waiting for you-
And I caught a fever
A holy fire-
Til I was crawling on the ceiling
Come out of your hole
I know you know-
You know I know-
I wanna go-
Such a pretty thing, i've never seen
Someone so perfectly deceive-
I loved her smile-
And her beguiling way with me
She smelled exciting, I wanted some-
Your drivers' gone-
Like everybody-
And that's why I need ya-
To catch on fire-
I want you to burn me til I feel it-
I know you know which way to go-
I wantcha to show me
So I can steal it-
Where should we go?
Where should we go?
I knwo you know that I'm
Gonna need it
I know you know which way to go-
I know you know-
I wanna go-
They're playing in a few weeks. Way cool. its been about 3 years since I saw Mr. Dulli and Co. on tour.
ANYWAY...I just bought the most expensive case of beer in my drinking career. I had my distributor order me a case of Dogfish Head's World Wide Stout. It's roughly 20 percent ABV. So, one bottle of this stout is the equivilent of 5 'normal' beers with regular alcohol content. The case cost me $145. Am I insane? Yes....especially when you consider that I havent even TRIED this beer yet. I'm telling you, though....I havent had a beer from Dogfish Head that I HAVENT liked. One of the best craft breweries on the NE seaboard, IMHO.
Lets see...still moving shit...still packing shit, and on Sunday Ill be cleaning the old house. Lovely weekend, eh? On another note, I finally picked up the Stellarstar* LP. Fucking BRILLIANT album...kind of a 80's prog-rock sound going for it. They remind me of a cross between The Pixies/The Eels/The Wedding Present/Big Country/Big in Japan. The music part and female backgrounds for the first two bands mentioned, with the versatile vocals for the Three British bands listed. Great stuff...I'm totally going to see them here in Philly in a couple weeks!
