Hrmmmm...a little bit of Bauhaus for the musically impaired:
She had nut painted arms
That were hers to keep
And in her fear
She sought cracked pleasures
The passion of lovers is for death said she
Licked her lips
And turned to feather
And as I watched from underneath
I came aware of all that she keep
The little foxes so safe and sound
They were not dead
They'd gone to ground
The passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
The passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
She breaks her hear
Just a little too much
And her jokes attract the lucky bad type
As she dips and wails
And slips her banshee smile
She gets the better of the bigger to the letter
The passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
Im offically a big, fat, dumb-ass loser. I'm sitting here writing this journal instead of actually having a bit of fun with the SGPhilly crowd at J. Brenda's. I convinced myself not to go, due to the fact that I'm STILL trying to finish the last of my packing here at the old house on Wallace street. What bums me out the most is that a good crowd was set to go out tonight. Even St. Jacks looked like it might be fun tonight. Arrrgh! I know its the right thing to do...Im just obsessing over it.
Anyway, Ill be in the new digs by Sunday night, not to mention I have off Monday and Tuesday before I head off to Austin. Maybe I can convince myself to go out and have enough time. Hell, maybe Ill get Synflower to even make it to Saint Jack's next week.
Let's see...I've made my decisions mostly for SXSW gigs:
3/18
The Smugglers
The Vexers
The Walkmen
Southern Culture on the Skids
Mission of Burma
The Mistreaters
3/19
The Catheters
Constantines
Trans Am
David Cross (OK, so that aint music)
Against Me!
Saturday is still up in the air...I might head to Dallas to see some friends since I didn't splurge for the super duper music pass this year.

I don't have any recordings from my previous bands. Honestly, its been so long since I've been in one, I'm just starting over now. But once I get something, I'll be more than happy to share it.
DIY record label is an idea I've toyed with to...that and a music magazine. But neither is particularly and easy undertaking. And I'm sure will be much more time consuming then I can even imagine. But, I just LOVE to overbook myself. What's a plate if not overfilled, right?
yeah, he's got great taste in pretty much everything. but so do you!
