Holy crap...a blog post.
Here I am back in San Diego (been here for about 2 weeks now) just after I though I made my great escape by graduating from boot camp. This time, however, my prison (during the week) is the Naval Medical Center. And I tell ya, heat injuries are a real bitch. I was at MCT when I went down on our LAST hike of the cycle...a WEEK away from graduating. I ended up OVERhydrating before the hike. Would have been nice to know that was possible beforehand. I blame the color coded piss charts in the head (bathroom). When the piss is clear it just says "continue drinking water." It should say "hey, fucker, make sure your salt intake is right cuz you probably flushed out valuable nutrients from your body and now you can probably die if you go on a hike." Anyway, I'm pretty much recovered now, but it looks like I'll be stuck here for quite some time. Gotta invest in another PS3 for use during the week. cuz all I live for now is weekend libo.
