Fuck. Shit Biscuits.
Sooooo, here I am back in my room. I SHOULD have gotten on a plane yesterday. I SHOULD have arrived in San Diego this morning. But, unfortunately, my right earlobe didn't shrink enough after being gauged. The left one did just fine. Psh. So my ship date got pushed back to the 25th of this month...and that's IF I can get my earlobe corrected. I was advised to get them sewn shut. But, since I quit my job to train before going to boot back on Oct. 30th, I am no longer covered under their insurance. So this will be an out of pocket expense...meaning I went to a freakin county hospital to see what can be done. Damn doctor has never heard of that type of lobe correction procedure and advised a plastic surgeon. I don't have the fuckin money for a plastic surgeon. Right now, all I can pretty much do is ask my friend's father who was a Corpsman to hook me up. But, I'm terrified of what that man has in mind. Any OTHER suggestions? Please, I need whatever advice I can get.
