Following the diagnosis of a brain tumor in my wife, this has been removed and she is now home. She has been given a month to rest by the surgeon so no work. I even flew my mom up from South Africa to help with the support. So we are all happy and things are going swimmingly.. THEN

I get a whatsapp from my dad yesterday in SA that my brother and his wife are involved in a traffic accident.. some guy jumped the lights ( typical SA) and went into the passenger side of the car they were driving. My brother suffered sever concussion and a fractured skull .. he is still in hospital. his wife being on the receiving end has suffered bleeding on the brain, a fractured skull, broken left leg, shattered pelvis, lacerated spleen and liver from the impact. also cuts to the face from the glass.

The worst is they both do not have medical aid and are at a government hospital.. which is rough..

Worst start to the year ever...
