Where the Fire Imps dwell, plotting their plots
And whispering their whisps.

Weave a web of woven wonder with a world of wishes
Alliterate all answers and ask anything of me
With assonance that pours like sanguine snakes descending flights of slippery stairs
I want you to profess your love in poetic unconvention
Break off into staccato

That I can hardly hear ? Hardly move ? Hardly worth trying any more

Nonsense is sense and dreams are reality
When in your arms I find a paradise unlocked
By the keys of the heart long-hidden deep inside the pit
Of an abyssal depression waiting to consume my galaxy
Its insatiable maw gnashes for more suffering
But with your force of love I shall sew it shut
Tacking it closed with staples and string
The enemies of melancholy

Kiss me quickly before the alarum bell sounds without
And I am left cursing the new light of day
As I groggily climb from my stuffy room and into the scalding showers.
