I've been dragging around my life with a sinus infection for something like six weeks. I'm on the second round of the second type of antibiotics I've been perscribed for this trip to nasal hell and I'm finally starting to feel healthy again. It's been so long that semi-health is like this weird sensation. We take it for granted most of the time but I think that everyday we don't feel like crap is cause for celebration. There are so many things that can go wrong with these fragile things called bodies.

Sinus infections seem to be taking over the planet. Maybe there is some new epidemic of sorts.

I get them all the time unfortunately. About as often as I got swimmer's ear during swim team.

you're right about us taking our health for granted. funny how it takes getting sick for us to remember ourselves. I have always thought, since I was a kid, about how being sick can be a small blessing. I serves as a reminder of what our bodies can be when they are well. (I'm not saying you should be glad you are sick, It sounds as if you have been through hell) I'm glad to hear you are fealing a bit better. Do take care. Two runs of Antibiotics can really hurt your immune system and upset the balance of your body.

Winter in general depresses me. (not just January) actually to be honest I'm a serious grinch and hate Christmas. Christmas, traffic, and over-consumption depresses me. There are things I love about winter and sometimes the cool air, the naked trees, the white sky, make me love the winter. But in general it feels like it's morning all day long and I don't want to get out of bed.

Thank you for the kind words.
