So I hung with leavemehere and EricJ at the Shakespeare tonight. It really is amazing the kind of common vibe this site has. It really comes home when you do face to face meets. One thing that really comes to mind about that is how easily I connect with guys from the site. I usually have a hard time finding guys I can relate to, but there is a very strong common ground here just from being sensitive and PC enough to dig women as human beings, appreciate and respect them want to know what they've got to say and all but at the same time not be so uptight as to pretend that you don't really really like seeing them naked. Then when you through in the throw in the whole punk/alternative culture thing... I guess I'm just saying that I had I good time hanging with a couple of SG dudes and that I always do. Male bonding is good.
In other news. I totally Ren faire obsessed right now. I just picked up a lovely used bodice on Ebay for the wife. The woman who sold it warned that It had been through the wash a whole lot. but it was still wearable. What it's really like is an old pair of jeans. It looks lived in not like a costume piece at all. Very cool.
I also put in for a Ren faire group on the site. I'll let you all know when/if it gets aproved. I sure it will be eventually. I mean why wouldn't it be?
