Well, I'll be damned.

No really, I will.

So I've decided to start a new career, a new chapter in my life, and wouldn't you know it: no one around me can find it in them to be supportive.
You know what I say to that? Fuck em.

I've worked jobs Ive hated for far too long. I walked out on my job of almost 10 years because it was killing me & I won't go back to another one like it.
I've really got a chance to be finally happy with something that I do, why would they not want me to have it?

I won't be denied this, not this time. I'm facing my future without flinching for the first time in a long damn time.

So I'm sitting here alone, packing my bag for New York.

If I thought anyone was gonna read this, I'd say something cliche like "wish me luck", but I'm far too aware of reality at the moment, so I won't.

I sure hope this works....
