I drove my truck for the first time in almost a year today. I've had to leave her in the garage because she's kind of broken. Hotdamn I love that truck. She wouldn't start right away, and I was feeling her pain. She just kept coughing and spluttering and having difficulties. My heart went out to her. I wanted to do whatever I could to make her pain stop. She's like a trusty steed to me.

Don't worry girl, you'll be better soon. Her name is Entropy's Mistress.

This wait is killing me! I'm trying to be patient and wait for my contact in Maryland to get back to me about coming out for a visit, but it's just not happening very quickly. I want to scope out housing, I want to meet everyone in the lab, I want to be there on my own again, and out of here. Oh help me, I even want to put my bee suit back on!

I want to meet all the happening East coast SG folks. I realy want to be back in the acedemic realm again. And beer! I want to drink beer!

And I want to chase dragonflies.
