I've come to the conclusion that people in Portland don't like to slam dance.
I went to The Toasters' show yesterday, and only about 10 people were dancing. To make mattters worse, those ten people were almost completely offended by the fact that another person might bump into them whilst in their groovyness.
What's up with that nonsense? Also, who like to go to a show and just stand around bobbing their head? It's silly and wrong to not have a little fun acting a fool at a concert.
In Cleveland if you go to a show and want to dance it's expected that you're going to get bruised up and bloody by the end of the night. It's a helluva good time to jump around like a moron and run into everybody else who feels like dancing damn it! You folks should give it a try.
