I made this list for a Facebook post but thought it had some interesting stuff in it. As such I am going to cross post it here too.
28 random facts about greggy
1. I have been to pretty much every state in the US and have lived in 4. CA, WI and NJ and PA *edited* (thanks ish)
2. The last time i was on stage as part of a band to the best of my memory was in 2003.
3. Three is my fave number, i also favor things in multiples of three.
4. I sing karaoke LIKE A BOSS!
5. I am double jointed in all 8 fingers but not in my thumbs, an ex gf used to call them "weirdos"
6. I am left handed but do something like, bat, swing a hockey stick or box right handed.
7. I took guitar lessons when i was like 10 but quit cuz i thought the teacher sucked. im still horrible at guitar.
8. While I suck at guitar for the most part, i have good ear and can pretty much pick up chords by ear.
9. I was recently out of work for 8 months while living in NJ.
10. I now live in Sacramento Ca, and work as a supervisor of the produce dept at Walmart.
11. If i could sing with any band I would choose Me First and the Gimme Gimmes hands down.
12. As recent as Jan 09 i had a mohawk that was black and pink and over 10 inches tall
13. I have been a NY Yankee fans since i was 7 years old.
14. I am in pretty much the best shape i have been since i was a kid.
15. I am getting very obsessive about my weight and my muscle development.
16. When i was young i raced BMX and made it to the pro level.
17. I haven't dated a girl close to my age for a very long time.
18. I started smoking cigs when i turned 18
19. No one ever correctly guesses my actual age and usually miss it by at least 10 years or more.
20. I really dislike chain letters
21. At age 21 i developed quite a habit of using speed and cocaine. This went on for many years.
22. Two separate times in my life I was almost a Father. Both times the child didn't make it. I rarely discuss it.
23. It is my dream to one day be a Father and a Husband.
24. I take marriage very seriously and while i don't see it as religious in nature. i feel it should be forever.
25. I cried like a bawling baby at the end of Marley and Me
26. I also cry every time at the end of Forrest Gump.
27. I have felt most at home on the East Coast.
28. At age 28 i decided i was tired of doing meth and just stopped with out rehab or NA. i had a few slip ups but haven't touched it in years.
