What a great opening day for my Yankees yesterday....
It rained like a monsoon almost all day yesterday. I was in fear that my one chance to see the Yanks on the west coast would be rained out. Despite the risk we headed to Park and hoped for the best. Good luck prevailed and the rain let up YAY!!!
The game was awesome........well if your not an A's fan it was awesome...mwhahaha
Highlights include... Juicy tailgate burgers, Jager/Rockstars, PBR oh and then there were game hightlights....
The first grand slam of the Year courtesy of A-Rod!!!!!
and a 15 - 2 trashing of the Not So Athletics!!!
The best put down I received all night was from a guy while we were trying to find seats...He stands up and points to me and shouts..."Hey Look...its Hawthorne Heights, Emo kids Love the Yankees!!!" haha clever kinda?
